The Event

Conversations at Turas will take place against a backdrop of intimate, historical and beautiful Sligo locations.

Three anchoring venues reflect the different sides of Sligo and of this unique event. The Model is one of Ireland's most important contemporary arts centres, located in the heart of Sligo town. The Glasshouse Hotel sits at the edge of the River Garavogue, offering a striking modern counterpoint to the town's older bones. Juniper Barn hosts our closing event, a space that feels as far from the conference room as it's possible to get.

Beyond these venues, you will also get to visit some of Sligo's best known beauty spots, places where creatives have spent generations starting conversations and sparking ideas.
